The Kamat Engineers Group , founded by Shri. Prashant V. Kamat with a humble beginning on 1st January 1990, as an Authorized Service Dealer for M/s. KIRLOSKAR OIL ENGINES LTD. the largest Diesel Engine Manufacturers of INDIA. Prior to, Mr. Kamat had associated with M/s. KIRLOSKAR for 10 years in Service. In 1990, Mr. Kamat established the entrepreneurship with M/s. UNIVERSAL ENGINEERS, as the first company, dealing in Kirloskar Diesel Engines Service. Kamat Engineers Group established its Head office at L-90, Phase II-E, Verna Industrial Estate, Verna-Goa. Subsequently with branch offices at Margao and Agassaim in Goa state, Kankauli and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra state, Karwar in Karnataka State, Kochi in Kerala state to cater for their valuable customers. KAMAT FOUNDATION [Goa]:
A charitable Trust in memory of late Mr. Vasant G Kamat and Mr. Gurudas G. Kamat , who was Goa’s first IIT’an from Bombay IIT, from the year 1959 batch, to attain MTech degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Industrial Electronics.
